Helping Network Marketers Achieve Success 1 at a Time

How To Achieve Success

“How To Achieve Success” is one of the greatest questions we all ask ourselves in this life. The majority of people, especially in North America, live to succeed, and it must be that people in other countries feel the same way because so many want to come to America to pursue the “dream of success”.

Success in itself is a mysterious word because it has a different definition to so many people. Some would consider one meal per day, a roof over their head and a comfortable bed at night to be “success”, while others need to be multi-millionaires to be considered successful.

How to achieve success is available to so many more people today because of the Internet. It is no mystery that living a fulfilling life and being able to help others will require, in most cases, that a person has financial means. Even though success has many different meanings for different people, I am going to focus on financial success in this post. I believe that when a person is financially successful it allows them to experience success in other areas of their lives.

The Internet is loaded with people and articles explaining “how to achieve success” but if it was as easy as most people make it sound, everyone would be millionaires by now. The truth of the matter is, it takes a lot of work and persistence to achieve success on the Internet. The majority of people do not realize this one fact when they explore the idea of succeeding via the Internet. An Internet is like any other business in that it requires running your online business just you would if you had a brick and mortar business.

Here are 7 simple steps that anyone can follow to achieve success via the Internet:

1- Education before experimentation! What I mean by this is, learn as much as you can about successful leaders and how they operate and about different opportunities before you get involved. You will find that the majority of successful online marketers have spent thousands of dollars and years of trial and error before they succeeded. Because of their advice, you don’t have to follow the same path. You can learn from them and achieve success much quicker!

2- Start today building a presence on the Internet by getting involved in “Social Media” such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitter and Forums that discuss topics you are interested in. The FREE education you will obtain in forums is invaluable!

3- Read ezine articles and reviews to see what others are saying about a particular company or person. Realize that you can be involved in writing articles and reviews that will create traffic for you as well.

4- In your education process you will learn what a capture page is and it’s purpose. You will also learn what an autoresponder is and how that Internet success without it is virtually impossible. Learn what a “funded proposal” is and how it can help you create income while you are building your business.

5- Understand that every successful business must spend money advertising! Without advertising, you will have no leads and without leads you have no customers and no business! There are both free methods and paid methods of advertising and all successful Internet Marketer has learned how to leverage both to the maximum.

6- Learn the power of LEVERAGE and how it can be used in every area of your business to help you learn how to achieve success and how the leverage will make it happen quicker.

7- I have saved the most important point for last. Through years of trial and error, and many wasted dollars, I learned that a “high-tier” opportunity is much easier and quicker to build than a “low-tier” opportunity is. A low-tier opportunity will require a huge membership before you ever start seeing any significant monetary results. You will have to recruit a thousand people before you ever get ten good people who stick around and build. With a high-tier opportunity, you will be dealing with a much higher level of people who are more focused on financial success!

Moving To Mississippi

Moving to Mississippi might not be a bad idea when considering current events nationwide. Many of those who currently live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast will certainly be looking for places to relocate because of the devastation resulting from the oil spill in the gulf of Mexico. Overcoming hurricane Katrina was a possible task but now adding the oil spill it will make recovery almost impossible.

If you are reading this article and you currently live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I would strongly encourage you to think long and hard about your future. Many people have the mentality to never give up and they put themselves in a tremendous financial bind by waiting too long before throwing in the towel. Don’t wait until all of your money is gone before you realize you should have moved and started over.

A good friend of mine once told me how he waited 8 years too late before realizing that he should have sold his business. He could have sold out for millions but then his business started going downhill. He continued pumping money into the business but it was too little too late. Rather than walking away with millions earlier, he ended up losing almost everything. I took his advice and sold my business when I realized I had peaked and the time was right. I will always owe my decision to sell when I did, to Joe, and it was a great decision.

Waynesboro Mississippi has been my home for 39 years and I could not think of a better place to live. Waynesboro is only 25 minutes from Laurel and 55 minutes from Hattiesburg. Land is still very affordable here and in fact, you can view property I have for sell by clicking here.

Some might ask the question, “How would I make a living in Waynesboro”? That is a good question and the answer is easy. You can make a great living from anywhere you choose with the correct tool. Click here to see what the correct tool is.

If you want more information about Waynesboro Mississippi, just do a Google search and you will find our County website with plenty of additional information.

Cheap Vacations Packages

When searching the Internet for cheap vacations packages you may not be thinking 5 Star Resorts but this article may reveal something you have never heard of; be sure to read carefully.

Most people schedule time every year for a vacation, and a few months or weeks before actually taking the vacation, they start searching online for good deals. This search usually takes people to companies like Expedia, Travelocity, Hotels.com, Priceline, etc.

All of these companies are good and they do have good prices but they do not compete with Global Resorts Network when it comes to cheap vacations packages. Global Resorts Network teamed up with a 20 year old company called Gold Crown Resort and GCR had been selling lifetime memberships to clients. Global Resorts Network exploded business for GCR by allowing the lifetime members to sell these vacation packages to others who would be interested in doing the same thing for a hansom commission. The rest is history!

With Global Resorts Network, you can usually book a 7 night, 8 day stay at a 5 Star Resort for much less money than the discount companies I mentioned before.

Before you book a cheap vacation or discount vacation, be sure and watch the video below.
You can also go to this link to see the video and then click on “Opportunity” on the left side, then “Compensation”. CLICK HERE.

Achieve Success – By Taking More Vacations

I know that the phrase “achieve success by taking more vacations” sounds like an oxymoron but it is true and many people are taking advantage of this opportunity.

Before I go further into this topic, I would like to ask you a few questions. If you answer “NO” to any of these questions, I would suggest you stop reading and go read another post on this blog because this topic will not interest you.

  1. Do you enjoy taking vacations?
  2. Does just the thought of taking a very nice vacation excite you?
  3. Are there other parts of the world you would enjoy seeing?
  4. Have you ever wanted to take an extra vacation (above what your company policy allows) but didn’t think your boss would allow it?
  5. If you had the time and money, would you like to take more vacations?
  6. Do you feel like you are still young enough and healthy enough to take vacations?
  7. Would you have to have more time freedom to take more than four one-week vacations per year?
  8. Would it require additional income to take more than four one-week vacations per year?
  9. Would you like to know how all of this is possible?

Remembering Cherokee Nation Chief Wilma Mankiller

Wilma Mankiller

First Woman Chief of the Cherokee Nation

First Woman Chief of the Cherokee Nation

DOUG JOHNSON: This past Tuesday, the Cherokee Nation and the United States lost a powerful leader.  Wilma Mankiller, former chief of the Cherokee Nation, died of cancer at her home in Adair, Oklahoma. She was sixty-four. Faith Lapidus tells about her life.

FAITH LAPIDUS: Wilma Mankiller was the first woman to lead the Cherokee Nation, based in Oklahoma.  She served as principal chief from nineteen eighty-five to nineteen ninety-five.  During that time, fifty percent more people registered as tribe members.  Miz Mankiller led efforts to build more houses and health care centers and expand educational possibilities for her tribe.

Wilma Mankiller was born in nineteen forty-five in Oklahoma.  She was one of eleven children.  Her mother was Irish and Dutch. Her father was Cherokee. They lived on family land called the Mankiller Flats. Her last name was an old term of respect for Indian warriors who guarded tribal villages.

In nineteen fifty-seven, the family moved to California under the Bureau of Indian Affairs Relocation Program.   Wilma Mankiller lived in and around San Francisco for the next twenty years.  She went to college and became an activist for Indian rights. She also studied community development.  And she married and gave birth to two daughters.

In nineteen seventy-seven she separated from her husband and returned to Oklahoma to serve the Cherokee Nation.  Wilma Mankiller faced many personal and health problems. In nineteen seventy-nine she was seriously injured in a car accident.  She had seventeen operations during an eighteen-month recovery. Miz Mankiller also had a muscle disease called myasthenia gravis and fought breast cancer and lymphoma.

Carolyn McClellan is an associate director at the National Museum of the American Indian. She is also a Cherokee who grew up in Oklahoma.  Miz McClellan praised Wilma Mankiller’s ability to lead and help others during such personal difficulties.

“I had tremendous respect for her,” Miz McClellan said.  She said Wilma Mankiller meant so much to girls who had no power at that time.

Wilma Mankiller was known for her effort to return the balance of power of the sexes to the Cherokee Nation.  She wrote about it in her book, “Every Day is a Good Day.” She said that women had played an important part in Cherokee government and tribal life in the past.  But she wrote that women’s roles decreased over time as the Cherokee people accepted the values of the larger American culture.  She said when she first sought political office in nineteen eighty-three it was as if “the strong role of women in Cherokee life had been forgotten by some of our own people.” She said that when she left office, that had changed.

Former President Bill Clinton awarded Wilma Mankiller the Presidential Medal of Freedom in nineteen ninety-eight.  On Tuesday, President Obama expressed his sadness about her death. He said she transformed the nation-to-nation relationship between the Cherokee and the federal government.

This article was written by Doug Johnson.

The reason I posted this article on my blog is because my favorite life quote comes from Wilma.

Take charge of your own life and understand you’re either going to live somebody else’s dream or live your own dream.

How To Achieve Success

The Quest for Success

The Quest for Success

How to achieve success in all areas of life at the same time, is like Indiana Jones looking for the lost Ark of the Covenant. It sometimes seems to become a quest that is just out of reach.

Our Lives Have Seasons

Our Lives Have Seasons

Our lives are similar to the four seasons, in that, we have times of great anticipation and joy (spring time), times of hard work and sweat (summer time), times to enjoy the hard work and sweat, but preparing for the next season (fall), and then the dreaded winter when we must hunker down and wait for spring again.

In all of these seasons of life we must maintain a proper balance and keep things in perspective. A strong mental person understands that these seasons come and go or else there would be no hope. When life hands us a challenge that we had rather not face, the first thing we must do is remind ourselves that we will overcome the challenge and in most cases we will be made stronger by these challenges. It is when a person focuses all their attention on “woe is me” and fails to have a proper perspective of the challenge, when depression can set in. Most depressed people tend to think that things will not ever change.

Here are a few suggestions to help you achieve success:

1- Goals: First learn the steps it takes to acquire the goal you want to achieve. Many times people set goals and do not know, first how to accomplish the goal. Knowing what your long-term goal is first and then setting short-term, realistic goals to reach the desired long-term goal is the best strategy. Steps on “how to do” whatever it is you want to do can be found easily today with the Internet. It seems like everything I want to learn can be found on Google or Youtube. I love being able to watch the instructive videos.

2- Write Down The Goals: Most people who have achieved success without exception, say they had written goals that were visible or could be made visible very easily. By having goals written down, it will allow you to stay focused. Understand that success will not happen overnight and just stay focused.

3- Prepare To Be Challenged: Reaching success is not always easy! Understand at the very beginning that you will face challenges. These challenges are not meant to defeat you but rather make you stronger and it makes the success much sweeter once you achieve it. Reading biographies of great people will help you realize that success has a price tag. If you do not have a strong reason why you want to achieve success, challenges will defeat you.

4- Positive Can Do Attitude: Henry Ford said “if you think you can or if you think you can’t, your right either way”! Attitude is 95% of success. The proper attitude attracts people and you will be noticed because of your attitude, be it good or bad.

5- Be Creative: In Michael E. Gerber’s book “Awakening the Entrepreneur Within”, he talks a lot about dreams and then how we should spend hours in a “think room” with other people and just let our creative minds flow. All successful businesses were just an idea and a dream at one time that someone followed down the path of success. Never think for a moment that everything that is going to be created has already been created.

6- Education: Never stop learning! The quality of your communication will determine the quality of your life-style! Great communicators are those who can solve big problems. Those who solve big problems get paid big bucks!

7- Physical Conditioning: Success is so much sweeter if you are able to enjoy your success with a healthy body. This is not to say that someone confined to a wheelchair can’t be successful or enjoy their success; being confined in the wheelchair may be the reason they are successful. A healthy mind and body doesn’t just happen. It takes work to develop both. This should be part of your goal, to stay in shape. It is proven that exercise will help with blood and oxygen flow to the brain.

8- God, Family, Friends: You were created by Almighty God for a purpose! Success is to be shared. The highest call that any of us have in this life is to serve others. This starts with our families as we lead by example and we teach our family members the true values of life from God’s perspective. Then there are friends that we can influence and help along the way as well. And then there are those we do not even know, that experience devastation, and we are given an opportunity to help them as well. The reason the Bible says that it is better to give than to receive is because if you give, it usually means you have something to give.

Remember that success is much more than just how much money we can generate, but success is being full of joy and happiness during every season of your life.
